We love spending time at home and in our community. At the same time, we love to travel to new parts of the world every few years. We also sometimes travel for academic conferences and work. Some of the highlights include Japan, China, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and several more countries in Europe and Africa.

We love traveling in the United States. We enjoy the National Parks and have taken several lengthy road trips. A few years ago, we drove all the way from Wisconsin to California and back! Just recently, we visited Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii where we trekked 15 miles on rough terrain to see the hot lava flowing into the ocean. It was an unforgettable sight. The Pacific NorthWest is a very beautiful region and we love living and exploring in this area. We’ve learned so much about different cultures through travel, and we can’t wait to share new travel experiences with our child.
